Decided in the spur of the moment to whip up a batch of home made black bean burgers! My first time ever black bean burger experiment and it is DELICIOUS! The baby had almost an entire one of these by himself and I had to stop myself after the first one!!!! The best part is that I kept the ingredients very healthy so you can actually pronounce all the them whereas, when you pick up a packaged of these from the frozen aisle, it is quite difficult to understand what half of the ingredients are!
So here is it for healthy, simple and tasty!
Ingredients:
1 can black beans
1/2 white onions, thinly chopped
1.5 pieces of whole grain bread toasted
2 eggs
1/2 cup quinoa
heavy on the spices you like, I use mexican whole seasonings
2 tbspoons parsley
2 tsp coconut flower
2 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Process the bread into fine crumbs, put in a ball; gently process the beans, add them to the bread crumbs; add the rest of the ingredients without the flour and oil! Put the flour in a plate, make medium size burgers with your hands and lightly bread in the flour! Warm up the oil and put the burgers to cook! Recipe makes 6 burgers!
