Look at this plate? Doesn’t it look so good? And i don’t know if you can tell, but it is humungus plate!!!!!
Let me tell you what’s happening here! I am at work and didn’t get a chance to prep for lunch today! So I grabbed the left over salad and chicken from last night (it has the dressing on too …. still good), grabbed a cucumber and bell pepper, the container of hummus and an apple! BAM!!! I have a knife to chop my veggies at work, no stress no hassle, just staying track with my goals! I don’t actually think I can eat this whole thing …. but when you are making something while hungry, your eyes will be bigger than your stomach!!! Do you pull out tricks like this for your lunch?
And since I brought this from home, ….. it probably costs me …. I don’t – $2! To eat awesome!! Are you kidding me 😉 I call it my energy boost for the afternoon!
So far in my day – 5 servings of fruits and veggies in my shake this morning, 3 servings for lunch and snack right here, and 1 apple/1 serving of fruit while picking kids up from school!! I will tell you, this eating raw and focusing on the servings thing is keeping me REALLY FULL!!! like …. I made this plate … but …. i don’t actually think I can eat this whole thing …. I will have left over for dinner too ….. it just amazes me how little the body needs to keep the metabolism running at full speed when eating raw foods! I am thinking, I can even cut my grocery bill in half! Eating like this this week I just noticed I have reduced my eating and the things that I do eat, like the cucumber and bell pepper, and apples and salad …. they don’t cost much when buying in bulk …… this is kind of revolutionary for me 😉 … yup, I know you thought I was kind of advanced …. lol!!! But no! I have light bulb moments every day! 😉 Any thoughts on this subject? Comment below, I’d love to hear from you!
