I am loving PiYo! Week 3 DONE! I feel the burn every day and as the weeks keep progressing the workouts are becoming more challenging by the day! It started nice and slow, low intensity, going deep in the moves and really creating that foundation of alignment and posture. But week 3 went deep into it with Sweat, Buns, Strength Intervals and CORE!!! My goodness …. just thinking about these makes me excited they truly are amazing workouts, shaping my arms and belly to perfection ….. PLUS ….I really started to feel the workout in my legs and buttocks ….. so here we go summer clothes!
I did a verity of meals all throughout the week including my meal planned and prepped during the weekend! Nutrition was definitely on point and my anchor was my morning Shakeology, which really kicked my cravings to the curb and provided that sugar fix I need on the daily!
It took my rest day on Friday! The calendar denotes rest day and as much as I am not used to take rest days (they really mostly turn to rest weeks for me so I do something little every day), but I believe that the calendar is strategically designed this way to give my body the most benefits so I take Fridays off of working out! 😉
Then my first born baby boy graduated pre-k this week as well so we had a celebratory day for him, which turned into a celebratory weekend, but I stayed on point with my workouts and my nutrition!
A few things helped me stay on point:
1. I had my meals planned and prepped
2. My breakfast is ALWAYS Shakeology which keeps me consistent
3. I check in with my Accountability Group daily and it MOTIVATES me
4. I wake up before the kids and do my 30 min workouts
5. I love the results I am seeing and they are keeping me pushing
I also started a FREE 5 Day Plank based Group on FB this weekend and the women in there are AMAZING!! They keep me on point, they give me energy and we have so much fun together! Plus … planking is so easy and so effective to get the belly slim down.
